The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are returning to the silver screen this month, so it’s a perfect time to check in with Mirage Studios and writer/artist Jim Lawson. Lawson’s been with Mirage since the very early days, and his work has been a constant presence on the Turtles books ever since, including the TMNT and Tales of the TMNT titles. He’s also put his talents into a handful of other fine Mirage projects (Dino Island, Paleo, Planet Racers).
Lawson talks about his longevity, the Turtles, and the strange inconsistencies with the TMNT publishing schedule in a year of heightened Turtles awareness.
